Theon’s taken a classic DIY approach to the record, having written, produced, mixed and mastered the record himself out of his Brixton studio. Legend of the scene Nicky Prince packs in a powerful topline that sends this track into unashamedly poppier territories than many of Theon’s previous releases. Showcasing his love for the 80s, the Original Mix features huge drums paired with a classic M1 bassline, with a strong nod to Nu-Wave. The release also features two VIP mixes showcasing Theon’s breath of taste and production styles, foraying into Breakbeats and yet further into UK Garage-esque domains. The artwork is a collaboration between Theon himself and South London Street Artist known as Richteapuram.
