Swung Out Records 001 features three tracks from label founder Theon Bower, named Family Business EP owing to both his brother and father featuring on guitar across the record.

All three tracks borrow from jazz, disco and old school house to cement a lo-fi vibe with plenty of live influence.

The opening track What A Day is a deep 4/4 roller peppered with spacey chords and live piano, with some chopped vocals and driving strings giving a nod to old school disco vibes.

Spotless minds is another lo-fi house journey on a bed of rhodes-style keys under an electrifyingly happy Juno lead, and also features Theon's dad on guitar in places.

Movin' ft. Fred is a jazzy breaks number featuring Theon's brother Fred on guitar, complemented by other live elements Theon has played in, resulting in a lo-fi garage feel.

Available as a limited 12" Dubplate featuring the first two tracks on the EP.
